  1. I think out of the non master models you got there the main case for auto include is Samael. His range is a little short for such a shooty model, but get him in a good spot to Rapid Fire with Flaming Bullets up and he can make a big hole in most lists. I favour Witchlings over Death Marshals in the 4 points bracket, they have a few more options available to them that disrupt your opponent, other than the tricky Pine Box spell. However with Justice, a single Death Marshal might be handy to boost her already considerable melee damage potential. Given your options and my preference for Criid, I'd go something like: Criid Flame Sam Executioner 2 Witchlings Judge 7 Cache If you want Justice as master could just be a case of trade Criid and her totem and maybe the Witchlings for Marshals.
  2. I feel the Hunter is pretty good with him, mostly for the option of assimilating Ambush and using Override Edict on a model yet to activate. Could also be useful for a harder to resist Open Circuit without using Soulstones, and potentially Justice-esque melee potential with Hoffman using Machine Puppet on himself. Ambush seems a reasonable assimilate, not sure its worth bringing the hunter for it, but those extra positive flips seem like they could be rather handy. He's also got great potential with Ramos. Ramos takes a Brass Arachnid and Hoffman a Mechanical Toolkit. Assimilate Stoke from the Brass Arachnid and grant Hoffman a tomes suit to cast flips with the toolkit, with the right cards in hand this can provide quite a few reactivates a round.
  3. Its actually a pretty tough question, I like them all, find Colette the most interesting to play with a game full of options when she's in play, but feel her story a bit predictable. 'Tina's theme is rather nice and with a few things added (Snowstorm) it'll gain more power in game. Guess I'll vote for 'Tina for sheer strength of theme. Still, I'm waiting on Kaeris so I can bring the burn with Arcanists.
  4. Sonnia, although my preferred faction is Arcanists, she is probably my favourite master story and rules wise. She's just fun to play and thats what makes for a good master.
  5. Hey there, Been playing wargames of some sort or another for a while now and find myself nowadays drawn to sculpts as well as games. So this seemed like a pretty good choice to get into. Ordered myself a pair of guild starters and some rules recently, although I'm not sure if I'm going to be getting many games in with a distinct lack of local players. Anyhow I'll be browsing around the forums a bit in future. See you about.
