  1. Malifaux will be a part of GAMEX 2010 being held over Memorial Day weekend at the Sheratan LAX hotel in Los Angeles, California. GAMEX is part of the longest running conventions on the west Coast and part of Strategicon gaming conventions. Schedules are still being put together.
  2. Kel, Were you ever able to line up a "replacement kel" for the convention or should I simply cancel the event at this time, we are getting the program book printed up and I have to make the call today. Robyn
  3. Keltheos, I'm really looking forward to your two days of demos at Orccon (http://www,stategicon.net) over Presidents day weekend: February 14th and 15th at the Radisson Hotel/LAX in Los Angeles, CA. It will be very exciting to have one of Wyrd-Miniatures prime developers at our home town gaming convention. We have been advertising the event hard, and know that several gamers have emailed us stating that are looking forward to talking/gaming with you! Robyn
  4. I think I could get out there in the next few weeks, after we close up shop here at OCC. I'll get with you via PM about it this week. Of course, that means I need to step up my painting. ;)

  5. Hey kel, Catherine the owner of GMI was asking when you might be coming by to give those demos. They got some product in store and we are struggling through rules last week and again today. We sure could use the help :)

  6. You and me both!! I thought it was great for mechanical jacks!!
  7. Yeah, these guys are GREAT on getting back to you regarding any mispacks, and you get the correction quickly in your mailbox!!!
  8. Latest update: primed, based and assembled 5 of the box sets:
  9. I tend to hang out at GMI Games and collectibles in Riverside http://www.gmigames.com. A great store run by Catherine and Rob!! I have all my box set assembled and they will be primed with the first coats of paints. I am going to the store on the 24th of October with my box sets and will stumble through the rules along with several friends. Anyone who would like to join us, come on down and join us! I should be there by 1pm on Saturday. Robyn
  10. I'm bringing all my Malifaux minis up to GMI next Weekend (Saturday Oct 24th), if anyone else would like to make the trek out to Riverside. I'm bringing at least 4 wargroups of models to get everyone in. Come on out and give it a try: http://www.gmigames.com Robyn
  11. Now that is an idea I could kludge on to. Thanks!
  12. Thanks for the suggestion on transport, I actually have plenty of Sabal bags, as I have been playing miniatures for a while. I would go with 1 1/2" or 2 " personally to stand them up rather than laying them down and placing any strain on the the attached arms. The problem I have with thin arms is that they are too small to pin easily (given my clunky large fingers) and I am concerned that while bumping the arm or weapon, it will pop off. I actually like the witch hunter box set is that most of the models are one piece, so my clumsy handling will not be sch a problem. Robyn
  13. So I've begun my witches box set So far I've only assembled, mounted, based and primed the models. I'm a little concerned that the models might end up a little delicate for transport and game play. I guess time will tell.
