  1. The back of the box I bought only had 2 pictured and list 2 to a box. Did think 2 for $40 was a bit expensive so glad it was 3 included.
  2. I bought the box at Gencon, displayed 2 models but inside was three models and cards with all different poses. Looks like I have that third pose.
  3. We changed history: every unit in play flips. Is this just for those effected by the 6" aura or all units on the board friendly or enemy? Is it flipping those not in glory into glory or the opposite? There are triggers that say flip from glory so is 1.2 Gigawatts only causing a flip to glory?
  4. These guys are working to paint a rosey pic but true be you are in an uphill battle with your Arcanist against the others. You are either working with something slow or not as synergistic. I've been working out Raspitina since GenCon and what has helped me is a mixed list. Rattler or Saber for fast engagement to tie up models. Next is just target priority to eliminate the models posing the objective threat and not necessarily offensive threat. When you are still scratching your head then throw in the Convict gunslinger or use Killjoy from low crawling Hoarcat pride. Arcanist can make good use of Outcasts so start reviewing the choices. It is going to be a rough road in the fight but concentrate on the objective. Keep them as safe as possible in the first three rounds then start burning SS in the remaining to lay down the damage. Terrain was the issue starting out in the game group, got a bit better with density. But it is also working both ways. Be creative with the variety of the lists.
  5. I think because the game is still new, players are kidding themselves there isn't an issues with the game. I keep seeing these posts about play up the points or do this but as far as my experience there be issues with this game on various levels. That being costing, model power levels and scenarios.
  6. Add a Doppleganger to that crew for an extra casting and further frustrate your opponent.
  7. I use Essence of Power majority of the time, as you said, (+) flips on spell damage is pretty hot. Either to achieve the extra flip or offset a low Def variance so I can still cheat. Have to drop that severe damage for 2 blast counters. Wendigo, in the same boat as it doesn't add much for her. It is another Frozen Heart to bounce spells off of. Student of Conflict, tried it a few times but you need to manage the Fast as it is an all action. I haven't got my timing down yet so have usually opted for EoP instead for my totem. It is good when you need that extra action, just an issue of getting into a good forward position to benefit a model 3" away. Which may just be fine letting Rasp get in an extra move or spell in.
  8. I have a friend in Bedford that I can pass your contact to as he is closer. As for me I wouldn't mind making the drive out there at least once a month for some gaming.

  9. I can play on the weekend with some advanced notice. Is there any other place closer for you to play at?

  10. We have a group that plays on Thursday nights at Hobbytown in Plano from 6-11pm. Malifaux is one of the games played each week; been playing it each week since Gencon.
  11. Neil is the shiznit, would recommend The Warstore from my past experiences.
  12. I voted Viktorias for the reason that the Outcasts can be used in any crew the person wants to start playing.
  13. A combination of terrain and fading memory along with Project Emotion has worked out well so far for me. Fading memory gives me my out with Pandora to reposition. THis is usually happening after spells are cast and incite/pacify is used. These (0) actions are the key part to move her back or behind cover.
  14. I've been playing her lately and the last game I agree with what you said. She was late game and shined. I would set her up first by casting Project Emotion on any groups and immediate threats giving then (-) flip on WP duels. Also working the fallback trigger with soulstone flips. After the PE are cast out it is followed up with incite to start inflicting damage and control the flow. I use Primordial Magic as a totem which now casts Dementia on high priority target. The trifecta of Pan, Primordial and Sorrow to cast out debilitating spells can cuddle a fair portion of the opposing crew. Causing 2-3 models to fall back on turn 4-6 can really hurt your opponent. I save ss for this turning point to ensure my casting total is too high to resist and work the trigger. After this the incite or pacify starts working down the wounds. Support of the totem and Sorrow back up with her spells with Dementia to further hurt those not falling back.
  15. I was looking at those hoarcats to order myself but held off, glad I did. When payment is tendered I expect my product delivered promptly. If I know up front an item is on backorder then all is good as I understand my order will be filled once a product is available. To advertise a product that isn't available without a notification of currently out of stock just causes bad press like this thread does. I order through The Warstore and they have these models flagged as out of stock.
  16. I would find it a calculated risk especially with certain scenarios or announced schemes. Could be benefical for a late game move to score the VP or help deny VP.
  17. You didn't give much to go on, it is a very basic battle report and not much beyond that to discuss any tactics.
  18. Not everytime he comes back, when he is brought back you place in the end closing phase. Then he activates normally the following turn. The wording from how I read it has a staggered return also. If killed turn one you wait until turn 2 to use the 2 ss for the placement at end phase then activates turn 3.
  19. I keep forgetting it can apply its mimic to any model within 8" and LoS, end up using my own model mostly. It can branch out to get interesting once models get closer together. Another model I am getting a hang of it the Hooded Rider, another good model to use the Doople with. A good model to use as a Hooded Rider, Ring Wraith on horseback.
  20. Oh yes, forgot that was icing on the cake there. It frustrated my opponent having the (-) flip.
  21. As you work with your Neverborn crew some more, try adding in a Doppleganger. I like borrowing the Greatsword damage and +1 Fast from Lilith.
  22. Man, I see more and more PG and other WM names on these board every day.
  23. Give how that life has been stressful lately my ice pillars should be a glass of Crown on the rocks. I wouldn't mind making two pillars at a time, the ice in an empty glass looks about right.
  24. I made my ice pillars using cork, glass rock pieces and snow flock on a 50mm base. The glass rocks are frosted so you don't have that clear glass look and fits in well with the intent. I built up the bases with the cork then glued on the rock pieces to get my shape. Final piece was mixing my snow and apply to cover the cork. Am pleased with the final results.
