1. Yeah, 72% and 5* geek rating! Though mostly disappointed as thought thread was about Bruce Lee..... The REAL man!!
2. Well if his "tool" is small enough to paint things on the head of needles, it's no wonder he's so good at it. Maybe he's ambidextrious to make up for it?!
3. They look excellent, where did you get the pics from? Me thinks the 2nd one is a must have. (notice lack of comments on Duende's morals! )
4. :You_Rock_ Major kudos to you! She's gorgeous and the tiger is fantastic. How much is she going to cost?! Did you sculpt the base yourself?
5. Sorry for my cr*p paintshop skills! Think the general idea is clear though.
6. Or this?!! - Quote :- "place base on a plinth to hide the batteries (put them under in a hollowed out space), dunno if it'd work ok, but the theory is sound." Meant hollow a section of the underside of the plinth out, drill hole for the wires, attach battery holder into the recess and bob's your uncle. Seen same sort of thing in an old edition of WD. Some bloke did a light up Balrog and put batteries underneath.
7. That's amazing! @Hinton, blister plastic and a 40mm base?! couple of LEDs (white or red), place base on a plinth to hide the batteries (put them under in a hollowed out space), dunno if it'd work ok, but the theory is sound.
8. Happy xmas! http://www.jacquielawson.com/viewcard.asp?code=0212320003
9. This is the latest thing on my paint bench, not bothering with anything complicated on this one, just wanted a nice simple, straightforward job before Santa brings a whole bag of Hasslefree and Rackham goodness my way. I'm painting his other arm/backpack/banner seperately! His shoulder pad, which doesn't show up very well in the pics, is GW golden yellow, his armour is ultramarines blue, inked with blue, then highlighted up to Ice blue. Bit bright for an Ultramarine, but wanted him to stand out a bit. And ultramarine blue is dull. Any comments/suggestions welcome, especially on the basing front! Thinking cork or slate, possibly in a bit of a mini diorama with traitor guard below him. http://s133.photobucket.com/albums/q77/jondalar_minis/matts_captain_sicarius_WIP2/
10. The commander on te left is really nice, me thinks i'll be getting one of them! the one on the right looks like the old SM commander, bar the robe! So are GW releasing a whole new set of sculpts for the DA or just re-hashing old designs? We gona see more of the Fallen and Cypher?
11. Well i've finished two models, kalee from hasslefree and a kelt warrior from rackham. Used a cork base for the first time ever, though went a bit mad and ended up doing 20 odd in a few hours. just got to get them painted etc! The warrior needs a coat of dullcoat to reduce shine, but really chuffed with how he turned out. please follow links below and i'd appreciate feedback! http://s133.photobucket.com/albums/q77/jondalar_minis/matts_kelts/ http://s133.photobucket.com/albums/q77/jondalar_minis/matts_hasslefree_models/
