Thanks everyone. It was my 2nd attempt using resin (my 1st being round one). I spent several days just trying to figure out how to make waves, so I really appreciate the positive feedback. I couldn't expect to be in a higher tier my first time in a competition, but I'm still giving it everything I've got; treating it as though I were competing in silver or gold.

(Guest gypsy, I couldn't tag you, but that's exactly the kind of comment I was hoping for )

@Linus Mcmold Thanks, I've never made them before Iron Painter. I'm doing whatever the theme inspires in my head, even if I have no idea how I'm going to pull it off. I would love to make something smaller next round, we'll see where round three takes us. These extravagant scenes are cool, but so stressful with the time restraint. I hope next round inspires something amazing for you:lol:

Wow just wow. One of the best bronze entries. Hats off to you. But if'd be to split hairs here I think the circular wave around her should have a different shape (less round more elliptic) in the back and maybe a bit higher? Since the ground level under the sea is also higher? (I'm not sure exactly, but probably some experiments would give you the exact change in a wave based on different levels of the sea base in shallow water). Also I think the monster should have had more slabber around/down the mouth?

Please split away, that's exactly what we all need in this to improve. I had never made waves before, and there was a bit of a time crunch, but it really helps to know how I can do better in the future, even if it's just little things.:) I'm really happy you like it overall. @sataniel

It does have lots of slobber in the mouth but the shadows kind of hide it. I'm still working on figuring out photography, it's really hard to get the light right. But I suppose I couldn't have done too much saliva  there's always room for more monster slime.
